Benefit Rides
We participate in several Benefit Rides where the proceeds support Veteran Centers, VA Hospitals, Military Scholarship Funds and Local Charities.
Memorial Day Ceremonies and Community Parades
Escorting the Post 537 Color Guard and Post Officers on Memorial Day is one of the yearly endeavors that our chapter takes pride in. We also ride in community parades representing the Col. Jacob Morgan American Legion.
Annual Bike Show
Each year on the first Saturday after Memorial Day we host our annual “Ride in” Bike Show.
You will see local bands perform and there is always some good BBQ too.
During the event there are several raffles and auctions whose proceeds benefit Veterans Charities.
Check out our Public Events page for the Event Flyer and more info.
Camaraderie
There is a camaraderie between the Region 6 Riders Chapters where each chapter rides to “Capture the Plaque” of the other chapter. This provides the opportunity for members to meet and communicate.
Whether participating in Benefit Rides, Plaque Runs or just out for an afternoon ride to a destination restaurant there is always a good time.
